PETER HARKER

Chief FINANCIAL officer

Peter Harker, CPA, MBA serves as Chief Financial Officer for Catalyst Health Network, where he has responsibility for the organization’s finance function and expanding its impact on Catalyst’s growth. Harker brings more than 25 years of financial leadership experience to his role, with specific expertise in capital formation, acquisitions, divestitures, strategic planning, tactical implementation, Securities and Exchange Commission regulations and banking relations. 

Prior to joining Catalyst Health Network, Harker served as CFO of Accurate Background, an employee screening service whose client base ranges from small and midsize businesses to Fortune 500 companies. While there, he led all treasury, financial reporting, FP&A and tax compliance efforts. He also drove strategic discussions and closed on Accurate Background’s transformative acquisition of CareerBuilder Employment Screening.  

During his time as CFO of QTC Holdings, Harker successfully closed a merger transaction with Lockheed Martin Corporation, yielding a 190% return for the medical evaluation services company’s shareholders. 

Harker earned his reputation as a leader in strategic management and capital formation during his early days as a CFO for several software development companies, where he led capital raises totaling more than $135 million.  

Harker holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree, both from Brigham Young University.
