Catalyst was recently made aware that provider members received a letter from UnitedHealthcare (UHC) advising that beginning January 1, 2022, they would automatically be enrolled in UHC’s Exchange Plans. However, Catalyst’s contracts are not inclusive of any UHC Exchange Plans and, as such, we have confirmed with the payer that this communication was a general template letter sent to our provider membership in error.
Although a rescind letter could not be sent by UHC, it is important to us that you’re kept informed of issues and updates such as this. Should you receive this letter — pictured on the right — please disregard it, and rest assured that this will not impact your current or future contract participation and enrollment through Catalyst with UHC.
